The target is made of tantalum with an innovative micro-channel cooling system. The target will have a compact design with dimensions of 10 x 10 cm2 to withstand a potential power of 1 kW\/cm2. It will allow the extraction and provision of produced neutrons by separate extraction channels placed around the target.
