Announcement of advanced PHITS tutorial 2-6 June 2025 at Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany

We are happy to announce that together with our colleagues from the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) we will organize a PHITS advanced course in Jülich from 2 to 6 June 2025.

PHITS is a Monte Carlo particle transport simulation program developed by the JAEA and its international partners. It can simulate many types of particles over a wide energy range using nuclear reaction models and data libraries. The workshop in Jülich will cover the basics and advanced features and practical applications of PHITS. It is ideal for young researchers and students using Monte Carlo simulations for neutron source design and instrumentation.

Registration details can be found below, or on the JAEA website.
